ABSTRACT

Wireless charging has recently become a common feature of many high-end consumer electronics such as smartphones. It offers the convenience of not having to insert a charging cable manually. However, wireless charging comes with a price on charging performance that needs to be clearly quantified. This article compares the performances of both wired and wireless charging methods. It aims to arm you with experimented data to decide which charging method better aligns with your digital lifestyle.
