Evaluating The Multiverse Beyond Empirical Realm

Author : Junzhe Liu

Abstract

Looking upward, one can see the moon, stars, galaxies, clusters... These increasingly inclusive configurations, observable or not, are all contained within an upper limit: the universe. Thus, the question naturally arises: does the universe encompass everything that exists or ever existed, or is our universe only one of many parallel universes that contain their own forms of existence? This paper develops a framework in which the multiverse theory is examined and assessed. Related scientific and philosophical knowledge is presented as evidence. In the last section, the social and scientific impacts of the multiverse’s existence are investigated.
